By Volunteering Your Time And Skills

Eden Community Homes volunteers visit residents individually or go out with residents’ groups. They can become involved in many different kinds of activities depending on their particular skills and the interests of the residents. Over the last year, our volunteers have played cards with residents, helped residents with reading skills, given piano lessons and participated in community outings.

If you are interested, please contact our office for details. You will be asked to fill out an application and then be contacted for an interview. A police check is required of all volunteers. Orientation is given to new volunteers.

By Making A Donation

Eden Community Homes needs funding beyond the base provided by the Ministry in order to improve the quality of life of our residents and help them move toward recovery. As a registered charity (Registration Number 108145921RR0001), we provide tax receipts for both cash and in-kind donations, all of which are gratefully received in accordance with our Donor’s Charter of Rights.
